CMF and Dental Implantology:
Setting of introral and extraoral implants

In the case of intraoral implants, the insertion of the implants without opening the oral mucosa (punching) and the achievement of a high parallelism with a full view of the surgical area is only possible with surgical navigation. The calculation of an optimal position and orientation and depth relative to the Mandibularis canal and with reference to the subsequent superstructure and high primary stability is also only possible with planning software. The combination of planning and navigation not only makes sense for intraoral implants but also for extraoral implants (epitheses).
